Before the convenience of supermarkets,  kitchens were stocked with the help of small grocers and butcher shops along with backyard gardens.  Canning seasonal preserves were a relied on to keep the shelves stocked. Join us to appreciate methods and recipes of the past that many enjoy practicing in the kitchens of today. Our farm to table display at the Tecumseh Area Historical Society will help you travel through time and inspire you to try your own pickles, relishes or jams.

The talk will be in the Farm to Table shed where people can look around, ask questions and then go to the main building, giving others a chance to see more of the Farm to Table display.
