What springs to mind when you think of Leamington? Most people would say the Heinz Factory quickly followed by the Big Tomato. Sustainable streetscapes rely on the incorporation and revitalization of existing historic buildings, cultural touchpoints, and unique character elements. Environmental sustainability reuses existing materials, minimizing new construction waste, and fostering social and cultural connection through the preservation of a community's heritage, ultimately creating a vibrant and livable urban environment.
Join us to discuss what Leamington is doing to support sustainable heritage, learn about the way buildings and cultural touchpoints are being reused, and what you can do to further the mission of advocating for heritage while moving toward the future of active living spaces.
