About the Walk:
Drouillard Road has seen its fair share of ups and downs. From the auto boom in the 20's, which saw a neighbourhood full of shops, businesses and workers, to a stark change in the 70's when most of the buildings were left to decay. Ford City is seeing a new type of resurgence with restaurants, retailers, makers and public art. Hosted by Shane Potvin (property and business owner), this walk will discuss this dynamic history and celebrate all of the entrepreneurs, businesses and investors that have been pivotal in creating what is considered one of the most unique and walkable urban neighbourhoods in the region.
